Mar 24, 2014 · I had logged into it this morning and everything was working fine - internet access, email, etc. Then, out of the blue, I lost internet access ONLY. I could ping my gateway and internal sites and servers (email was fine) but I could not get out to google or any other EXTERNAL site even though I was just browsing them a few minutes ago. If you hover over the icon, you see a message such as "No connectivity" or "Limited Internet access" (depending on which requests failed). If all of these requests succeed, the Task Bar shows the usual network icon. If you hover over the icon, you see a message such as "Internet access." Nov 19, 2017 · I've been dealing with this for whole day and finally found resolution. Here is how: First issue: I couldnt connect to internet after I established my VPN . Resolution: I have disabled/unchecked "Use default gateway" checkbox on TCP IPv4 properties (VPN Connection Settings => Network => Internet protocol (TCP/IPv4) => properties => Advanced => Use default gateway on remote network)
