Dec 06, 2011 · Weird issue just popped up. No one can access the company website internally. Externally it works fine. I'm guessing it is a dns issue, but not sure. Cannot ping by name or IP address. Dec 26, 2010 · for the past week or so I've been unable to access a number of websites. they're timing out halfway through the connection. other sites hosted by the same companies work fine. looking through the archives i found a similar issue from a year ago in MD. I'm in MA. a group ticket was opened for that MD
They too checked everything with the modem, had me run some tests, and while the modem worked perfectly, I still could not access an ever increasing number of websites. This is my final port of call before I do a complete restore on my laptop and set everything back to zero. The sites I cannot reach are, some of them, the following: bbc.com
network - Can't access specific websites with Macbook Air For example, I can't access www.apple.com or www.reddit.com while some other sites I can access come out "broken" (e.g. in imgur or Facebook I get no images, I can't login etc.) I can ping them, nslookup works, traceroute fails. After a successful connection, you might not be able to reach some or all websites. There are a few things you could try to fix this issue. 1. Try switching between a few different servers. 2. Try switching from UDP to TCP in the app settings. 3. Nov 19, 2019 · After you install Norton, you are able to connect to the Internet but you are not able to access a specific website. Run LiveUpdate to update the virus definitions to resolve the issue.
